COURSE DESCRIPTION<\/strong><\/p>\n

This course takes a multidisciplinary approach to Workplace Health and Safety. It helps you appreciate hazards that can exist in any type of workplace, relevant to both blue- and white-collar industries. Many OH&S courses focus on developing specialised knowledge; that is learning the laws and practices that relate to a particular industry in a particular legal jurisdiction. Research shows that there are some distinct advantages though to being more of a generalist than being a specialist. Generalists are more innovative in their thinking.<\/p>\n
